The Southbound Band originated in 1981,
since then the band has been on a steady road of improvement. Todays Southbound sounds better than ever. The members
of the group have enough talent and ambition to go as far as they wish. currently their goal is to have a summer packed with
shows at fairs and festivals all over Ohio and beyond,
Southbound has played numerous
fair and festivals in the years past. These shows range from small town celebrations to larger events with a grandstand full
of listeners.
The band has had the pleasure of performing for charitable organizations
such as the V.A. and Disabled Children, They've also done U.S.O shows and performed on board the USS Farion and the USS
Escotion.
The band Appeals to all ages with their versatile sound------from modern
country to southern rock.
Southbound takes pride in delivering a show the whole
family can and will enjoy and the group also presents a positive and sharp dressed image.
Southbound has had the pleasure of performing with Alabama, kentucky Headhunters, Rhett Akins, Paul Jefferson, Tom
T. Hall, Sunny Dracey from the outsiders, Wade Morrison from the drifters, and most memorable The Shangralas.
